Typological map forest of Region Lazio

The Typological map forest derive from "Carta delle formazioni naturali e seminaturali della Regione Lazio mediante approfondimento al 4° e 5° livello Corine Land Cover della Carta dell’Uso del Suolo della Regione Lazio scala". The classification criterion on typological base proposed for region Lazio follows, consistent with similar studies conducted on the national territory, to a strict hierarchy, in which types are the fundamental units. The types are characterized by a homogeneity from the ecological, floristic and cultural point of view, and therefore, can configure such elementary units of management.
