Census and monitoring of Chirotteri in Lazio

The project initially surveyed the presence of bats at the regional scale, especially within the protected areas, with direct observation, the bat-detector and bibliographic data. The activity continues with the monitoring of the species and their habitats, in accordance with Directive 92/43 / EEC and Presidential Decree 357/97. All bat species are of European interest and can be used as indicators of the state and the quality of the environment. The data is aggregated on grid 2km.
